The various round … Read more An elegant giltwood frame enclosing seventeen Grand Tour Giovanni Liberotti intaglios dating from the early 19th Century. The various round and oval shaped plaster intaglios feature subjects predominantly from Classical Antiquity, including the Equestrian Statue of Marcus Aurelius, the Prophet Zechariah and the Laocoön Group.

The intaglios are beautifully mounted on an olive ground in an oval glazed and giltwood box frame The Equestrian Statue of Marcus Aurelius is an ancient Roman statue in gilded bronze. The statue was erected in 175 CE
