Limited Edition of 150 prints as part of the poster series for the literary journal "Paris Review". Financed by Drue Heinz, the publisher and wife of
ketchup manufacturer Henry J. Heinz, the series was started in 1065, initially with twenty five posters and was expanded to include 70 posters. The revenues were for the benefit of the
journal. the early posters were mostly published as limited editions. Among the participating artists were
Louise Bourgeous, Ellsworth Kelly, ,Wilhem De Kooning, Robert Rauschenberg, Saul Steinberg, and Andy Warhol.

Bought from Jack Glen Gallery in the early 1990's, La Cienega Gallery, Los Angeles. This was Leo Castelli's example that he loaned to the show "Roy Lichtenstein" at the Pasadena Art Museum. This exact poster was on exhibition at the PASADENA ART MUSEUM from April 18, to May 28, 1967, and at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis from June 23 to July 30th, 1967. It was listed in the catalog as #67 Lent by Leo Castelli Gallery, New York. The print has an early Leo Castelli sticker on the back of the print. There is window on the frame to show this sticker mounted to the back of the print.
