Spanning a breathtaking 108 inches (9 feet) in length, this piece captures the true spirit of "Island Nobility." In the palaces of Bali, such massive furniture was designed for communal lounging in open-air courtyards, surrounded by lush gardens. Crafted from solid reclaimed teak, it carries the soul and strength of the jungle, built to anchor the largest of rooms. The carved daybed is defined by four massive, hand-turned "Beehive" legs—a signature of colonial-era royal residences in Java. These heavy, grounding elements support a frame that features a delicate, pierced floral carving on the backrest and apron, allowing light to filter through the solid wood. It includes a custom 98" x 42" mattress cushion, offering a sleeping surface significantly longer than a King-size bed—perfect for tall guests or lazy Sunday naps.
