This uniquely rare embossed poster from the 1978 exhibition of minimalist pioneer Dan Flavin titled: ‘...drawn along the shore, 1959-1976 by Dan Flavin’ has personal encryption to Nancy and Herbert from the artist. Signed Dan F.
Dan Flavin (American, 1933–1996) was a pioneer of Minimalism, best known for his illuminated installations of commercial light fixtures. Born in New York City, Flavin received his high school education at a seminary in Brooklyn, NY, as his father wished him to become a priest. He went on to study art history at the New School for Social Research and at Columbia University, while independently working on his own sculptural paintings. In 1961, Flavin began to incorporate electric lighting into his sculptures, and, by 1963, he worked exclusively with commercially available fluorescent tubes. Selecting colored lights directly off store shelves, Flavin established a number of standard forms for his work, such as standing lights in corners or hanging them off the wall, which he dubbed Corner Pieces, Barriers, and Corridors.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
