Inscribed lower right, 'Kimball' for Harold Kimball (American, born 1929) and painted circa 1975.
Born in New York City, Harold Kimball lived for several years in New Orleans as a member of the artist colony there and studied at the Delgado School of Art, where he studied painting and sculpture. Kimball's artistic development has been influenced by surrealism. His work has been displayed in New Orleans at the Delgado School of Art, the Colorado State College of Mines, and at Concordia College, Indiana.
