This small serving dish has probably had a long history of serving up nuts or bonbons on a serving buffet. Very handy for Thanksgiving hors d'oueuvres tables, it adds a bit of old fashioned
whimsy.
It is very well preserved without blemishes or scratches. I love the pierced weave design, combined with the traditional grapes and leaves border. There is an added wreath motif at the center.
