The dresser is … Read more This is a handsome vintage mid century modern walnut veneer tall chest of drawers or highboy dresser. The dresser is unsigned but the sculpted sleek lines evoke models designed by Kroehler, American of Martinsville, and Red Lion.

The dresser has 5 drawers and is clad in beautifully grained walnut veneer. The top 4 drawers have vertical sculpted drawer pulls. A pair of carved rosettes is mounted on the top drawer pulls, and the bottom drawer has a horizontal lip that runs across the length. The dresser is mounted on sculpted tapered legs.

The mid-20th century dresser is in very good vintage condition. The dresser is very sturdy, and the drawers work well. There are marks on the top of the dresser, and small areas of veneer loss, especially on the edges and corners. The tops of the drawers have some divots. The dresser measures 36” wide, 19” deep, and 45” tall. See less
