Scandinavian 1960s mahogany and iron bedside table, "Rolf" model by IKEA, with a lightweight frame and brass details.
Vintage Scandinavian mahogany and iron bedside table, "Rolf" model, designed for IKEA in 1961. The wooden body, with its warm and even grain, is supported by a black iron frame with cross-bracing and a lower grid shelf. The drawer is embellished with a curved brass handle, an elegant detail that complements the graphic rigor of the metal frame, an expression of 1960s Nordic functionalism.
