Tall and impressive in scale, this is a vintage mid century modern ceramic lamp in a Danish modern style. The center white egg-shaped ceramic body has a textured surface with a hand-painted sophisticated, abstract design in blue, terracotta, olive, and gray glazes — truly an artful statement piece. Beneath this ceramic section is a wood disk and metal base, and above is an elongated wooden stem or neck. We love this elegant stem and prefer to show it with a shorter shade, such as the one pictured in one of the photos; however, the shade in the photo is not included in the price. Great lamp for a spot where you need some height.
Very good vintage condition with minimal wear consistent with age and use. Metal base has patina as shown in the photos. All sides are pictured. Original wiring is in working condition.
