Footed centerpiece bowl/platter by Swedish artist Martti Rytkönen REEF 14 for Orrefors/Kosta Boda. Simply shaped, this limited edition appears to be soft, strong, and light but at the same time heavy and hard. The depth of colour (blues and greens) has been applied to beautiful effect. The piece is simple, sensual and pleasing. This signed and numbered art glass may be used as a centerpiece, a decorative decor element or a cake stand. Approx 13 3/4W x 3 3/4H
Martti Martti Rytkönen was born in 1960 and studied both glass and ceramics at Konstfack in Stockholm.
