A contemplative abstract head sculpture by Larry Mohr, executed in white ceramic with a matte, chalk-like surface. Acquired directly from artist's estate. The form balances smooth, refined facial planes against intentionally rough, textured sides, giving the piece a strong sense of emergence and restraint.
The simplified, mask-like face is calm and inward-looking, while the unfinished edges retain the immediacy of the artist’s hand. The sculpture is signed “LM” at the lower edge and presented on a black base that gives it visual weight and stability.
This is an original studio ceramic sculpture, not a mold-made decorative object.
