Vintage Murano Sommerso Glass Jug by Arte Nuova 1950s
A vintage art glass jug made of thick amber and yellow Sommerso glass with a clear glass overlay. Manufactured by Arte Nuova, Murano Venezia, in the 1950s. Marked with the company label 'Arte Nuova Genuine Venetian Glass'. Arte Nuova, also known as Pustetto & Zanetti, was active in the 1950s and 1960s. Their products were awarded a Grand Prix at the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels. A classic mid-century modern art glass design from Italy.
