Built in chestnut, the table features a single wide-plank top with softly rounded, racetrack-shaped ends, displaying a rich patina with visible grain, tool marks, and surface wear from generations of use.
The top is supported by seven turned legs, including a central support, all joined by a full stretcher base that provides excellent stability and strong architectural presence. The turned legs and stretchers exhibit classic baluster forms typical of provincial French tables of the late 19th century, while the generous proportions make the piece highly functional as a dining table, harvest table, or center table.
