To design a more versatile cocktail table, Thomas Pheasant further pared an already spare waterfall form-only to add back an unusually thick cast brass frame with an organically textured face and a polished interior. Adapting to its environment, a floating clear glass top picks up any decorative objects' detail, including an ottoman, placed under it. Just as the discovered remains of Pompeii brought astounding insights on our distant forefathers, artifacts like this cocktail table promise to reveal us as open, forward-thinking, and discerning to some future generations.
