This pine secretary would have served in a well to do country manor or large Swedish farm house in the 1800's.
The many cubbies and petite drawers are a traditional element in a classic Swedish bureau such as this, resting upon the lower section with 3 large, functioning drawers.
One skeleton key is included, which may function simply as a pull for the desk top.

Restored, later professionally painted in layered shades of antique white with gray undertones all lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this clean lined bureau.
This secretary has been restored, drawers function, etc. All cracks (see front), dings, separation of wood (especially drawer bottoms) is commensurate with age and does not detract from the aged beauty of this bureau.
