This Rare and original Antique Portuguese Tile Mural Panel depicting Aubergine Spongeware Surrounded by Blue & White Flowers were made in Portugal in the period of 1706–1750.
Item Details & Specifics:
The late 17th century and the early 18th century were considered to be the 'Golden Age of the Tile’, the so-called Cycle of the Masters. Mass production was started not just because of a greater internal demand, but also because of very large orders from Brazil. Large one-off orders were replaced by the less expensive use of repetitive tile patterns. Churches, monasteries, palaces and even houses were covered inside and outside with tiles, many with exuberant Baroque elements.
Item condition: Some flaws, chips on some tiles. One tile restored. Age weathered surfaces. Condition is appropriate for age and use. See photos for complete assessment.

At this time, all purchases will be shipped from Lisbon, Portugal (EU). For now, all shipments to the United States will be sent via an International Standard Shipping Service. CTT has an agreement with the United States Postal Service (USPS), so the handling/delivery of packages will be made by the USPS, and packages can be tracked using their website. - Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
