Estate find.
Horsehair ceramic bud vase vessel features a rounded, bulbous form with a petite, rounded opening at the top. The surface shows sinuous, irregular black lines that result from applying horsehair strands to the hot ceramic surface during the firing process, leaving dark, scorched patterns as the hair burns away. There appears to be a signiture at the bottom.
