This is an authentic Hermès silk scarf professionally framed. It was designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier and released in 2017. In 1979, the French artist settled in Milan, Italy. There she became one of the founder members of the Memphis design movement, and spent seven years designing textiles, rugs, decorative objects and furniture. Since 1987 she has devoted herself to painting, choosing everyday objects as her primary subject. Her encounter with Hermès gave rise to this composition named Zeta. Close to the word seta – “silk” in Italian – this title is the artist’s nod to her past: “I approached this canvas by distancing myself from the representation of real elements, with a freedom similar to that which I had when designing fabrics in the 1980s.
The frame is made from durable aluminium for a timeless and elegant look. It includes a white mat board border, crystal-clear acrylic glass and a sturdy wooden backboard for lasting support.
Frame comes in four different colors: Midnight Black, Off White, Copper Bronze, Moon Silver & Orange Gold. Feel free to send us a message if you'd like a different frame color than the one listed and we will happily replace it for you.
Please note this silk scarf is in good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The frame is brand new and custom made to perfectly fit any classic 90x90cm Hermès scarf.
