A pair of table lamps fabricated from repurposed French wooden toys in the shape of colorful clowns. The clowns led a former life as a ring toss game but someone quite clever (no, I can't take credit) mounted them by dowel to brass and wood lamp bases. They are outfitted with a standard socket, new wiring and an in-line switch. No lamp shades are included and there is no maker's mark. I really love a good handlebar mustache and these two are sporting the perfect ones...not to mention they look a little mischievous! Wonderful accent lighting for those that like a little whimsy in their decor.

The toys and the newer wood lamp bases show wear with some loss of paint finish. The toys definitely look played with which adds to their charm but may not be appealing to everyone. Please see the photographs for the aforementioned patina.

Each lamp measures 17" to the top of the socket x 6.38" wide at the base x 6.38" deep at the base. The toys each measure 13" tall x 4" at the widest. Each cord measures 60" long. See less
