Beautiful original vintage rattan hanging egg chair for classically bohemian decor. Solid woven construction with original hanging loop at the top. Perfect for a living room, sunroom, patio, or reading nook. Also works for a tropical tiki look; and is the best rocking chair for swinging a baby to sleep in your arms.
Bought in the Hudson Valley at a long-gone rattan furniture shop and they said it was from their original 1970s stock. We had it hanging in our living room and it was featured in Lonny magazine.
The rattan is all original and has been restored by a professional. It is very strong with no loose parts. Sturdy woven seat base • Hanging hardware loop intact • Normal vintage wear consistent with age (see one small missing piece of rattan on seat). Structurally solid and ready to hang with proper hardware.
