The body is richly decorated with sculpted floral motifs and fitted with molded opaline glass tulip shades in the shape of roses. The spaces between the arms are filled with molded glass in the shape of shells.

The piece displays an elegance typical of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in the Art Nouveau/Belle Époque style.

The quality of the casting, the refined floral decoration, and the patina of the bronze attest to fine antique craftsmanship.
