Superb 18th-century English mahogany commode from the George III period with a pull-out writing surface.
This commode is of exceptional quality, crafted from mahogany with a beautiful flame-like grain. Commodes with pull-out writing surfaces are among the oldest and are indicative of its 18th-century origin.
The uprights are decorated with fluting.
The drawer interiors are oak, a hallmark of quality.
