A monumental hand-blown art glass vase, standing 10 inches tall, designed by jaroslav svoboda and crafted by skrdlovice / beránek … Read more A monumental hand-blown art glass vase, standing 10 inches tall, designed by jaroslav svoboda and crafted by skrdlovice / beránek glassworks in the czech republic (formerly czechoslovakia) in the 1970s. This lovely piece features a bold cobalt blue core encased in thick, clear crystal glass. Made using the renowned sommerso technique, it showcases the sculptural aesthetic characteristic of beránek studio glass. A multitude of controlled internal air bubbles adds dynamic texture, depth, and a sense of movement to the vase. This is a very solid, heavy vase, weighing approximately 10 lbs (4.5 kg). It remains in excellent condition, with no signs of use—most likely a display piece that was never actively used. Still retains its original label: "bohemia glass – made in czechoslovakia.“ a truly visually captivating piece. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
