Dating from the late 19th/early 20th century, this bedside table features a drawer at the top and a door revealing a practical storage compartment. The front is adorned with a flame veneer in a beautifully symmetrical design. The fluted uprights, tapered legs, and finely decorated gilt bronze mounts and keyhole escutcheons recall the understated and refined aesthetic of the Louis XVI style. The table rests on four slender legs, giving it a light and elegant silhouette. It retains its beautiful original patina and is in good, stable condition. There are slight signs of wear and minor marks of age, which do not detract from the charm or authenticity of the piece. It has a marble top.
