In the middle of the last … Read more Lovely vintage bookcase designed and made in the UK by Staverton (Dartington, South Devon). In the middle of the last century, Staverton manufactured furniture ranges for the Crown Suppliers and this developed into contracts for Crown Court Buildings and London hotels. This bookcase is solid oak with solid block feet. It has 5 compartments with up and over glass fronted doors, each compartment divided into 3 sections. In very good vintage condition, one of the very best we have ever had. Some evidence of wear, to be expected with age, but nothing major. Approximate dimensions: Width: 93cm Depth: 36cm Height: 186cm Compartments: 28cm x 27cm x 23.5cm. A great piece of vintage furniture - very popular with our customers. Date stamped 1955 See less
