French architect and designer, Charlotte Perriand, "one of the most influential designers of the Modern Movement", helped design the ski resorts of Les Arcs in Savoie with Le Corbusier in the 60s and selected these beautiful chairs for use there. Tubular frame with thick brown leather seats showing some beautiful patina. In good vintage condition. Some wear and tear, commensurate with age, but nothing which detracts. Approximate dimensions: Height: 82cm, Width:48cm, Depth:60cm, Seat height:44cm A very collectable chair whose price has soared over the past couple of years. See less
