Fine example of Dutch modernist design, featuring a chrome metal frame with a rattan / cane seat.

The stool is in very good original condition. I never have encountered a better one than this. The construction is solid, welds are intact, the chrome is very good, and the cane seat remains tight and undamaged.

This design fits naturally alongside the work of designers such as Martin Visser, Cees Braakman and Franco Albini, sharing the same light, functional elegance and honest materials. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
