Maria C Bernhardsson's original artworks are influenced by the architecture and geometry of houses. Born in Sweden, Bernhardsson travels the world photographing and sketching houses to use as inspiration for her canvas and paper artworks. Her paintings include subtle layering of colors and shadows of individual houses in conjunction with the overall feeling of gazing at a collection of buildings in an abstract urban landscape. Playful details such as flowers and animals complete her one-of-a-kind artworks and make the houses feel like homes.

Bernhardsson often paints in strong colors, in many nuances and a lot of layers. She describes it like this: “The colorway is very important to me when I paint. I love to combine as many colors as possible at the same time. Contrasts, strong colors/ bright pastels, plain/structured, dark/bright in a cubistic, skewed, dreamy and naive way.” Her artworks have been exhibited worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations
