With its geometric pattern and lovingly time-worn composition, this hand knotted wool distressed antique Persian Farahan rug embodies a rustic craftsman style. The weathered field features a central lozenge medallion anchored with hexagonal pendants at either end. An all-over Mina Khani pattern is spread across the abrashed field and corner spandrels. In this particular antique Farahan rug, the classic Mina Khani motif is especially lovely due to the variety of different styles of floral blossoms and gorgeous array of colors.
