Circa Approx. 1930s. The It is Rendered in the 1 Piece Casting "Wedge" Style Designed to be Displayed Flush Up Against the Door Creating a Interesting Semi Silhouette Presentation. It has No Maker Marks but it is Documented and Identified in The Doorstop Book as "Sitting Cat" Wedge Produced by The Spencer, Guilford Foundry in Connecticut - Book Value $750.00 to $1,000.00. NOTE That the Only Model Pictured in the Book is a All Black Painted Cat with Green Eyes. This one is a Black and White Cat with Yellow Eyes Adding to it Scarcity. It is in Very Good Overall Cosmetic and Functional Condition. It Still Retains its All Original Hand Oil Painted Features - Displays Nicely!. It has a It has Some Surface Paint Chips Primarily on the Nose and the Paint is Somewhat Aged & Weathered. No Damage to the Casting. It is Absolutely Guaranteed to be Original & Vintage as Stated.
