It was produced in Rutland and resided 95 miles away in Johnson until it was purchased at a barn sale and brought to Maine, where it never saw the outside. Due to the fact that it has been indoor decor for decades, it is in very good overall condition for its age, with just enough wear to the wood and cast iron that is virtually corrosion free. Top to bottom details: The top surface deck boards have some wear to the wood and a little paint; otherwise, they are fine with no damage such as warping, splitting, or deterioration from moisture. The cast iron stake pockets are all in excellent shape with no damage or wear present, and the side rails are good. The entire underside is free of damage, and all is solid. The front and back 6" swivel casters are very good. They are in fine physical condition and both spin and swivel properly. The only things found to point out are a missing screw that would not be missed and a cut in the rubber of one tire; otherwise, the tires are damage free and show little wear. The central axle, brackets, and 12" primary wheels are also in very nice overall shape with little wear and no damage present beyond a couple of small dings in the tire rubber and a missing small axle set bolt. Both wheels spin freely with no issues to report. To be able to ship this piece for free, the wheels will be removed (as pictured) due to the weight and are easy to remount with four bolts apiece.
