Offered is a quintessential mid 20th century D1 Dutch Oven and lid designed by Michael Lax for Copco in the 1960s. This piece is in almost original condition with minimal signs of wear. The exterior is a deep buttercup yellow and very saturated. The interior is a soft off white porcelain enamel. While the lid can also be used as a small grill plate or a trivet base for the pot, we suggest just using as the lid to keep the enamel beautiful.

The enamel on the inside is clean and no scratches or chips or utensil marks. There is a pinhole sized mark near the lower handle which is too small for the camera to capture. The steel base is clean and shows some signs of having been used for cooking over fire. See detailed images. Any wear is commensurate with use. Also, please hand wash and towel dry - cast iron is not meant for dishwashers. less
