From an extensive collection in an estate north of New Orleans, it was well cared for and it appears as though no shells are missing.
The outside and inside are trimmed with uniform spiral shells and the main body of the frame is a mixture of all sorts of shells in various shapes and sizes.
This is a wonderful statement piece for the coastal or Palm Beach Regency home. See less
