The frames boast a rich, aged gold leaf finish with wonderful patina. The arched crest rails are centered by hand-carved floral sprays, flowing seamlessly into padded manichette arms. The serpentine seat rails are adorned with central shell and foliate carvings, all supported by elegant cabriole legs ending in scroll feet. Both chairs are upholstered in a refined, neutral toned damask fabric with a subtle floral pattern that complements the gilded frames without overpowering them. The deep, loose seat cushions offer exceptional comfort, making these as function as they are decorative. They are in excellent vintage condition. The giltwood frames show minor, age appropriate wear, adding to their authentic character. See less
