Biography
Le Punch Grassot. 1895.
Dating back to 1862, Punch Grassot is named after a much-lauded comedian at the Palais Royal. It can be served hot or cold, and is a combination of brandy, Curaçao, simple syrup, strawberry syrup, muddled lemon peel, and a touch of vinegar. It is often garnished with either a peach or an apricot. In typical Chéret fashion, the actual product is almost secondary to his luxuriously attired Chérette.
