Up for sale is a wonderful antique 19th century handmade 3 gallon stoneware pottery crock by Jacob Zipf, Union Pottery, Newark N.J..
It's made by hand out of thick pottery walls with a lovely salt glaze and embellished with hand applied cobalt painted detailing.
The crock features dual handles and has a gorgeous silhouette
It measures 12 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches tall.
There is some hairline cracks as shown in last photos and some chips on the inside rim.
