The painting is 16 inches tall by 20 inches wide and is beautifully framed. The gold frame has ornate details. The framed size of the work is 21 inches tall by 24 inches wide and 2" deep. The painting was created in oil paint on stretched canvas. The painting is signed on the lower right.

Marina Movshina is an American artist known for landscape painting, and for her illustrations of children’s books, as well as her botanicals. Her paintings have been selected for the exhibition of distinguished alumni at Carnegie-Mellon’s Centennial Celebration of its College of Fine Art, the Logan Center at the University of Chicago and the Harlin Museum in West Plains, MO. An elected artist member of the American Artists’ Professional League, New York, NY, she is admired for her skill as a painter and draftsman in the handling of space, depiction of light, and expert use of color. She received a B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University and studied at the Art Students’ League, New York, NY, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Marina lives in St. Louis, MO.
