Striking pair of vintage Italian decorative vases crafted in terracotta with hand-applied gold leaf, each formed in a classic Neoclassical urn silhouette. The surfaces display authentic age-related wear with areas of exposed red bole beneath the gilding, consistent with traditional Italian gilding techniques and highly desirable in Grand Tour–inspired objects.
Both vases retain original “Made in Italy” labels and were produced as decorative objects rather than functional pottery. Their graduated scale makes them ideal for styling as a pair on a mantel, console, bookshelf, or within a layered vignette.
