This vase has a classic urn-like shape with two distinctive, angular handles extending from the rim to the upper body. The vase beautifully showcases the interplay between its sculptural magnolia motif and the varied matte glazes. Standing out against the earthy green leaves and brown background, creating a soft, naturalistic depth are the large cream colored magnolia blossoms. These flowers have a three dimensional quality, enhancing their visual impact and delicate texture of petals.
