Originally introduced in 1958, the Trim bag design pays homage to the brands long running equestrian roots drawing inspiration from a container utilized in the storage of feed for horses during the carriage drawn era. The design was completed revamped for the Mid-Century Modern woman as a chic yet transitional "hold all" shoulder bag and would later become a favorite of celebrities like Jackie Onassis. The Trim bag is a timeless piece that has been released in a variety of sizes, colors and patterns and is considered among enthusiasts and collectors as a must have piece.

This 1992 edition of the Trim bag was handcrafted in France from Hermès signature "H" toile canvas which incorporates two different colored threads to form the "H" pattern as well as the now discontinued peau porc or pigskin leather in the popular natural coloration with adorning gold brushed hardware. This transitional piece can be worn as a shoulder bag with adjustable shoulder strap to accommodate ones desired comfortable length. This Trim bag is the second designed model (II) and has a date stamp of “V", indicating the year made (1992) and opens to an unlined interior with plenty of room to house day to night essentials with two interior zipped pocket. Comes with certificate of authenticity and box. In good vintage condition with signs of use consistent with age and wear. Leather trim shows some light scratching and two small stains to toile canvas that is pictured within. Full specifications and detailed condition report listed below:

Condition: GRADE: 2.5. Bag is in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Leather has been well maintained with some small scratching to bottom and sides have occurred. Toile canvas does show some light staining that could possibly be removed. Hardware shows very minimal signs of wear. Light oxidation has occurred where hardware meets buckle.
