Our in-house designed Onda Lounge Chair was inspired by a vintage form we sourced many years ago. We were not able to identify a historical comparison and believe it was likely a custom-made piece from its era. We were so taken by the design that we chose to revive its spirit through our Onda Chair.
We felt this piece reflects a design sensibility that echoes the warm, sculptural traditions of Brazilian masters Rodrigues, Zalszupin and Caldas.
These are made to-order by Object Refinery. This shown pair features a soft Italian Cotton Bouclé in the color Ivory and is accented by solid Walnut. This fabric and others are available through our curated fabric collection, and COM is also possible. As the name suggests, our Onda Chair was designed to make waves. Its fluid design allows for it to become the ultimate modular sofa; for two, three, or many more. Please inquire with any questions.
