Nay and published in 1877 in the illustrated volume upsala, with accompanying text by s. Nordström. This later issue contains ten tinted lithographic plates rather than the twelve found in the earlier 1870 edition, and represents a documented variant rather than an incomplete work. Nay’s lithographs are distinguished by their careful architectural rendering combined with softly modulated tones, lending the city scenes both clarity and atmosphere.
