A pair of early 20th-century cast bronze roosters, cast in multiple parts and then assembled by welding, then chiseled and silver-plated. These early 20th-century works are striking for the authenticity of the roosters' different postures and the craftsmanship of the artisan who created them.
The measurements are different and are indicated.
They are in perfect condition with some minor oxidation of the silver plating, as can be seen in the image gallery. They are of Italian origin and date back to the Art Nouveau period, which was highly sensitive to the animalier spirit in its diverse depictions of farmyard animals and more.
