Both the padding and the cover have been replaced, making the chairs more elegant and suitable for the home environment.
Despite being folding chairs, thanks to Gio Ponti's design, they don't look like utility chairs at all.
The Eden chairs were initially produced by Cassina and later by the Reguitti Brothers (like the chairs on sale here). This piece has an attribution mark,
