Likely made in england in the edwardian era, circa 1905, this highly decorative and versatile piece will add beautiful aesthetic appeal and bygone charm to any setting.

made of beautifully toned, richly coloured, and wonderfully patterned rosewood, this gorgeous table features a stunning square top with a satinwood border, three layers of outer concentric inlays and a beautiful central multi-coloured floral motif inlaid with ivorine and satinwood.

the tabletop sits above a curved apron and below is a gorgeous, handy rosewood shelf with matching concentric boxwood inlays. The table has lovely square tapering legs to match the square stretchers, all inlaid with highlighting boxwood to really catch the eye.

all in all this is a very attractive and versatile table, which will add super craftsmanship and antique charm to any interior.

condition
this is in fair-to-good antique condition. A beautifully crafted piece, it is structurally sound and has only minor wear to show its impressive age, including some historical wear/touch-ups to the central inlaid motif and some historic wormholes to the legs, for which the whole table has been treated for good measure. Overall it's a an absolutely gorgeous table in lovely condition and if well looked after it should be just as stunning and even more rare for many generations to come – please see the photos.
