This incredibly rare and highly sought after piece of Chanel history was made during the late 1990's by Karl Lagerfield who drew his inspiration from the timeless art of French glassmaking "Gripoix" jewelry. During the Early 20th Century founder of Chanel, Coco Chanel, collaborated with jewelry designer Robert Goossens from Maison Gripoix to create one of kind pieces using the decades old technique that are seen throughout Chanels historic designs. Handcrafted in Italy to the highest luxury standards, this Chanel scarf is a true wearable pieces of art made from a luxurious silk twill with hand rolled edges with the design itself depicting a kaleidoscopic and mesmerizing arrangement of colorful glass jewelry. This particular scarf is an original issue from 1994 and is in good condition with specifications and detailed condition report listed below:
