This is a somewhat rare piece of French art pottery made in a similar style to the arts and crafts … Read more This is a somewhat rare piece of French art pottery made in a similar style to the arts and crafts pottery, made in the US in the 1890-1940 period. (The best ever). It was manufactured by the pottery of Elchinger et cie around 1910-1930. The mark states, made in France, which dates this vase to the early 20th Century. The vessel has colorful hand painted flower bouquets over a ground of deep cobalt, and then glazed. The colors are very rich and vibrant. The condition is perfect. No cracks, chips, etc.
