Early 19th-century Swedish tall pine cabinet built in two sections with original painted finish. Blue painted panels remain visible throughout, with much of the surface worn down to natural pine beneath, accented by traces of red and darker blue.
Large upper cabinet doors open to reveal three full shelves and a curved, notched upper half shelf originally designed for displaying family silver spoons. Three central drawers function well and are fitted with brass pulls. Lower cabinet doors feature gently scalloped panels.
Locks and keys no longer function; the lower cabinet secures with a small brass latch at the top, upper right door has an interior metal latch system that snaps in place.
Restored strong, stable, and ready for use. Typical age-related scratches, nicks, dings, and wood separation are present throughout, including the sides. Distress to the painting finish seen throughout.
