The DS4 armchairs were designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh for W.J. Bassett-Lowke, a Northampton-based industrialist. An Italian company Cassina was making authorized reproductions of these chairs starting mid-1970s. These particular 2 chairs with serial numbers 1144 and 1145 were produced around 1980. See less
