Lovely antique Schumann Bavaria Porcelain Covered Cheese Dish measuring approximately 8" inches wide with underplate and 4" tall. Dish and cover are in very nice vintage condition, with some minor fleabites around the bottom of the domed cover but no chips or cracks. Accompanying this lovely serving dish are a set of 14 4" appetizer dishes.
Reader, I thought these were the butter dishes of my dreams, but upon further research, I find these 14 dishes are "appetizer" dishes. They can hold a sauce, or a few canapés. You can repurpose them as individual and jovial butter dishes, the choice is yours, ownership is 9/10 of the law.
No chips or cracks on the appetizer dishes. Such a lovely set for your blue and white collections and party serving ware.
